Królikarnia - The Rabbit House, dates back to the Sas times, when a bestiary was set up in the building and it was a fashionable custom of the time to go huntings for rabbits. The Palace was built in the 1880's by Karol Thomatis, count the Valery, according to the designs of Dominic Merlini. The first owner of Królikarnia, a native of Milan, the "director of spectacles" at the court of king Stanislaw August, was known for his love of card games. Thanks to Thomatis, a brewery, a brickyard, a tavern, a mill and stable were built on the grounds of Królikarnia, and also a kitchen to be found on the slopes of the gorge, in which there was a library in the 19th century.

In 1816 Królikarnia was bought by Michał Hieronim Radziwiłł and in 1849 it was sold to Ksawery Pusłowski, both of whom were famous art collectors and art lovers.
